All private aircraft transport outside of the United States and Europe and Australia is significantly more expensive by a factor of many multiples. If you do not have any of these budgets specified, you will not be able to fly private aircraft locally here, and will have to book commercial flights or ground transport. Kindly note we will not respond to any requests for private air charters for less than the brackets above, as it is not possible to fly anywhere for less than that.

To join our flying club and be able to fly a helicopter in Japan (provided you are a pilot and qualified,) in addition to all of the usual you will need the following:

It takes about 2 weeks to get an Aviation Medical Certificate. And after that, it also takes 2 weeks to get an Aviation Practice Permission. That’s why it would be difficult to operate a helicopter etc during only a month’s stay in Japan.

If you are ok is okay to take a health check for an Aviation Medical Certificate, JFA will ask on your behalf to a hospital how many days it would actually take at that hospital, and if it’s okay to take the medical check for a non-Japanese speaker. Or else we will recommend another.

Also, the pilot will need to get a Certificate from the consulate of their home country to prove his nationality, name, date of birth, and gender to get the permission after getting the avitation medical certificate.
